Success Story of the Month
I met Eddy about 2 years ago in a local bank. I over heard him talking to someone about his work. I at this point had tried everything I knew of to help my son. So I ask Eddy if he could help my son. He told me to write a letter , telling him our story.
We had spent the last 14 years watching our only son turn from a beautiful , bright teenager to a disfunctional adult addict.We had been in and out of rehabs with no real results except spending the money we had saved for college and then some. I thought if one more person told me he had to hit rock bottom I would scream. I had long ago hit my bottom, but of course that did not matter. The truth is he has to want help and be so low that he knows only God can save him.
Eddy befriended our son. Eddy worked with him for about 6 months . Eddy prayed for our son as we did. Eddy worked on self esteem, self worth and ambition. He gave our son confidence. His appearance changed,we saw a side of our son , I had not seen in years.
He got back in church and started working on his self instead of destroying his self. He has held a good job now for over a year. Eddy and I both give God the credit.
